Wildernest specialise in high quality custom transportable log buildings and mobile homes. We, as standard, design these to exceed BS3632, the British standard for residential mobile homes. All meet the statutory requirements to comply to the Caravans Act. As such our transportable log buildings can be used to replace an existing mobile home, as an annexe for family members, are ideal to be used by farmers and smallholders as accommodation for employees and of course for leisure enterprises as holiday accommodation. Relevant planning permission or a Certificate of Lawful use will be required prior unless you can meet the planning guidelines for annexes. There is some extra information on our FAQs page.
All our log buildings are constructed using logs machined from slow grown, northern European Spruce of the highest grade.
Our single or twin unit transportable buildings are constructed with 70x185mm or 95x185mm solid square machined logs featuring weatherproof interlocking joints and include 200mm insulation in the walls, floors and ceilings. Our transportables are highly efficient to run keeping you warm in winter and cool in the summer. All include high quality external and internal doors and 68mm tilt and turn double glazed windows.
The buildings are designed and machined at our dedicated factory and then the components are delivered and constructed on site meaning that we can deliver and build your log home even if access is limited.
Once you have decided you wish to purchase a log mobile we design with you the optimal unique living area to suit your requirements. Our design team will prepare floor plans, further technical drawings will incur a drawing fee which is refundable on signed contracts.
